What's it all about?
The UK now has a 70% success rate in its applications to the main strands of the Culture programme, and this is your opportunity to learn how you can
apply to this fund, and to find out about all the other EU funding opportunities
available to the arts and cultural sector.
What will the seminar cover?
- Background to the EU – knowing how it works and what’s in it for you
- Detailed information on the full range of EU funding programmes, including the Culture programme, the latest programmes for education, training and young people, the citizens, environment, and research & development programmes, plus the latest Structural Funds, and possible new opportunities for rural areas resulting from changes to the Common Agricultural Policy budgets.
- A brief reminder of non-EU opportunities, including European trusts and foundations, as well as bursaries, grants and awards
- Ways in which cultural organisations can develop European partnerships
- How cultural organisations can deal with the latest EU rules and regulations
- Important guidance
for applying to the EU programmes and tips for developing
an application
